Sandwich Board of Education

The Sandwich CUSD #430 Board of Education meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in second floor Library Resource Center at Sandwich Middle School. [GET DIRECTIONS]

Additional Board and committee meeting notices are posted in advance on the front door of each school building.

Board meetings are open to the public and citizens are welcome to attend.

Meet the School Board

Steve Skorup

President

Mr. Skorup is an Applied Technology instructor at Waubonsie Valley High School. He was elected to the Board of Education in 2011.

Angie Turney

Vice-President

Mrs. Turney is an office manager. She was elected to the Board of Education in 2011.

Dale Hamilton

Secretary

Mr. Hamilton is an Information Technology supervisor for Caterpillar. He was elected to the Board of Education in 2013.

Robert Miller

Member

Mr. Miller is a VP of Finance at Lyon Workspace Products. He was elected to the Board of Education in 2011.

Vicki Scharenberg

Member

Mrs. Scharenberg is a real estate agent. She was elected to the Board of Education in 2011.

Suzann Spartz

Member

Mrs. Spartz is a MRI technologist at Valley West hospital. She was elected to the Board of Education in 2013.

David Stahl

Member

Mr. Stahl is a diesel mechanic. He was elected to the Board of Education in 2013.

Rick Schmitt

Superintendent of Schools

Mr. Schmitt sits at the table with the members of the Board and serves as a resource person to the Board of Education but does not vote.
