Emergency Closing Information

Snow, ice, extremely cold temperatures, district, or other building-level emergencies may affect school closings and may require modification of bus pick-up and drop-off times.

Generally, schools will remain open except for extremely inclement weather.

On inclement weather days, the school district encourages parents to check for up-to-date information on school closings by listening to the radio or watching television for closing information. Sandwich CUSD #430 closing information can be heard on WSPY (107.1 FM) and/or on the WGN television station. Parents may also go to http://www.emergencyclosings.com for school closing information and can sign up for e-mail notification of school closings.
