We’re happy to welcome Ms. Jenny Bowen as a student teacher in Physical Education this quarter. Ms. Bowen grew up in Woodridge and is working on her degree in Curriculum and Pedagogy from Northern Illinois University. Her family includes Willy, her Chocolate Lab, and Kenai, a Husky.
The last movie she saw was 27 Dresses. Disney movie, The Little Mermaid is one of her favorites …. Arial is her favorite Disney Princess; she loves her voice. Greys Anatomy is at the top of her favorite TV shows. Right now Sugarland is the CD in her car.
In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, dancing, running, kickboxing, skating and boating.

Jessica Clay joins us as a student teacher from Northern Illinois
University . We’re happy to have her as a member of our 5th
grade team. Jessica grew up in Carpentersville, Illinois. Family
includes her two brothers and her mother.
The last movie she saw was I Am Legend. The Notebook, a great love story, is also a favorite of hers. Bridge to Terabithia is the last book she read, but her all-time favorite book is Catcher in the Rye. Just like Jenny, her favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy.
In her spare time, she enjoys watching animation and hanging with her friends
We’re also happy to welcome Mr. Eric Douglas as a student teacher in Ms. McAlearney’s fourth grade class. Growing up in Sterling, Illinois, he now attends Northern Illinois University.
His family includes his mom, dad, and sister Katie.
The last movie he saw was Batman Begins. His favorite move is The Fox and the Hounds because it’s a story about friendship. As for books, the last book he read was Stephen Colbert’s I am America and So Can You. Favorite books include James Patterson’s Alex Cross series.
In her spare time he enjoys skiing, playing video games, and exercising.
Mr. Brad Houser joins us in Mrs. Prucha’s 5-7 homeroom. He is working
on his Elementary Education degree from Northern Illinois University.
He grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with his parents, three dogs, and two
cats.
He also recently saw I Am Legend. But his favorite movie is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. He’d like to have his own chocolate factory!
The Road is the last book he has read with Charlotte’s Web his favorite book. As for TV, he’s an American Idol fan. He also has a Sugarland CD in his car.
Mr. Houser’s hobbies include tennis and listening to his IPOD.
