Assemblies and Seminar about Bullying

Sandwich High School will host an all school assembly to highlight the work of Jodee Blanco, a nationally known anti-bullying activist and author of the New York Times best-selling memoir Please Stop Laughing at Me… and the newly released sequel, Please Stop Laughing At Us...One Survivor's Extraordinary Quest to Prevent School Bullying.

On Monday, February 11, 2008, Sandwich C.U.S.D. #430, in cooperation with other community organizations, will sponsor a parent and community seminar at 7:00 p.m. in the Sandwich Middle School gymnasium. The seminar will feature Jodee Blanco and her insights into the prevention of bullying.  After the seminar, there will be a Q & A session and a Borders™ book signing. All community members, parents, and teachers are encouraged to attend. Anyone with questions about the seminar is encouraged to contact Dawn Greenacre or Beth Butler at (815) 786-8812.
