Fine Arts Philosophy
The philosophy of the fine arts department is to recognize that all individuals have a "creative" self and that
art is one of the areas in which it can be expressed. Introduction to the elements and principles, techniques,
materials, art history, etc., is achieved through academic and studio art work. An awareness of creativity and
art in all facets of life is the desired outcome.
