Philosophy

Foreign Language acquisition is an important communication tool for all people in our world. We, in the Foreign Language department would like to expose as many students as possible to foreign languages so that they may more fully experience the cultures associated with the different languages, recognize the need for a second language in many career areas, and become more sensitive to other cultures that are here in the United States.
