Philosophy

The philosophy of the Special Education Department at Sandwich High School very much mirrors that of our district's mission statement. We believe we must strive to provide the listed opportunities to an even greater extent. As special educators, we advocate for each individual student in their quest to develop educationally, emotionally, physically, and socially to the fullest extent of their ability.
