- All 6th 7th and 8th grade students that are going to be on the SMS Track Team should sign-up in Coach Polera’s room 314 or Coach Brummel’s room 312. You need a physical, ins waiver and $55 sports fee.
- Attn: 7th graders: Permission slips and money are now being accepted for the March 17th trip to Springfield. We need to get a final head count by February 17th. Please see Mrs. Sgiers in room #305 for any questions or to turn in money & permission slips.
- Any boy interested in playing baseball, pick up a form in the office.
- Any boy interested in attending a baseball skills camp, you can pick-up a flyer in the office.

Sandwich Middle School is proud to host a trip to our state's capital city in Springfield, IL . The trip is open to ALL currently-enrolled seventh grade students at SMS. Our trip to Springfield, IL, will be provided through Educational Tours, Inc. ET has 40 years of experience in offering school tours and is a member of the Student and Youth Travel Association (SYTA) and the National Tour Association (NTA). They are also an Accredited Travel Provider through SYTA, exceeding rigorous standards of industry regulations and requirements. All fees are included in the cost of the trip including transportation, admission to tour stops, and two meals. We encourage students to bring additional money with them to spend on souveniers while in the state's capital.7th Grade Springfield Trip Information Download Now
Emergency Day Information
There are several wasy that our building will communicate information about school closings. On inclement weather days, the school district encourages parents to check for up-to-date information on school closings by listening to the radio or watching television for closing information. We will send this information to WSPY (107.1 FM) and/or on the WGN television station.Parents may also go to http://www.emergencyclosings.com for school closing information and can sign up for e-mail notification of school closings.
